Along with growing, comes responsibility and being put in some sticky situations. Over the past few days, I've realized that I am so blessed and fortunate to have the life that I have. I want to start being more appreciative of everyone/everything in my life. My mother is an amazing, beautiful, genuine, intelligent southern woman who has worked and still to this day works her butt off. And I must say, I will be eternally grateful to have a mother as amazing as she is. As a single parent, she has done more than her role as a mother and a father, I honestly couldn't have asked for a better woman to have raised me. As cliché as this may sound, when I have children, if I'm half as good of a mother as my mom is, I'll be doin' a darn good job! She has raised me to be a polite, outspoken, sassy, sweet, and kindhearted young lady and I have every intention to continue being the lady my mother has raised. That being said, don't let your mommas or daddy's down! "Keep your head, heels, and standards high!"
XOXO,
A
